Miguel Paredes
Bilingual Senior Account Associate
Director of Organizing

As Director of Organizing, Miguel has over 20 years of bilingual communications experience working in and around Los Angeles County from current and past projects organizing with LAUSD, SEIU, CHIRLA, Reform LA, and St. John’s Community Health. As a Project Manager, he is responsible for providing oversite to project teams, working with community partners, and developing project plans and partnerships. His unequalled understanding and relationships of Latino and Indigenous communities, stakeholders and community based organizations in Los Angeles, allows him to best accomplish the project goals.

He has been a leader of a 60+ person "Street Team" and Community Intervention Specialist team for LA Metro that work daily on platforms to assist ridership and bring safety and connectivity to the transportation system. The implementation of our Community Intervention Specialists has made one of the biggest impacts in reimagined safety and a model nationwide.

Miguel is a Board Member with the ACLU of Southern California and is the Executive Producer of Soul Rebel Radio on KPFK in Los Angeles.  Miguel received his Bachelor of Arts in English and Chicano Studies. He is bilingual in Spanish.
