Connie Mejia is an Account Associate at Lee Andrews Group. She performs a wide variety of activities in planning and implementing public participation plans. Connie addresses critical and complex public issues, analyzes public reaction and improves their understanding of public participation programs. She devises appropriate communication methods for the public, news media and elected officials. Connie communicates agency principles and policies to the public, creates public affairs campaigns, and works in the education sector to promote environmental justice programs. She also uses ArcGIS for mapping and analyzing spatial locations which organizes layers of information into visualizations using maps and 3D scenes.
Prior to joining Lee Andrews Group, Connie was a public participation specialist at the Department of Toxic Substance Control on the Exide residential cleanup project in Commerce, CA.
Connie graduated California State University San Bernardino with a BA, Communications Studies and a BA in Spanish Language. She is a certified Spanish translator.
