Krista has more than 15 years experience in economic development, public policy, and public relations working within and around local governments.
She is a skilled professional specializing in community engagement, strategic visioning and economic development practices. She’s adept in understanding core business objectives and processes, and translating those needs into clearly defined and easily implemented systems. A natural leader, Krista guides by example and fosters team cohesion through effective communication at all levels. Prior to joining the Lee Andrews Group, Krista worked at SoCal Gas in Public Affairs, Regulatory crisis management and Marketing.
She has served the City of Los Angeles as a District Director, Planning Deputy and Community Affairs Deputy in various council offices. She’s also lent her services to the Los Angeles Community Development Department where she managed capital projects as a Finance Officer. She’s served as Senior Liaison for the Mayor’s Office of Housing & Economic Opportunity, and as Community Affairs Manager for the Housing Authority of the city of Los Angeles. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Krista managed Government Relations and the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Grant for the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC).
Krista holds a Master of Planning, Community & Economic Development Finance degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and a Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science from Rosemont College.
She has served on several boards and has completed various continuing education leadership programs through the years.
