Kathryn acts as the strategic business partner to the CEO and firm leadership in human resources administration, compliance, and employee relations.
Professional Expertise:
Kathryn brings over twenty years of experience in human resources and facilities and operations management in professional services firms to Lee Andrews Group. Kathryn specializes in California labor and employment compliance, employee development, staff and management training, policies and procedures, and DEI training. Her background includes working with a film music talent agency, an entertainment marketing and PR agency, law firms with global, national, regional and local reach, and an animal welfare non-profit serving eleven cities in the Los Angeles area.
As a consultant, Kathryn has assisted small businesses with all HR generalist needs, advising on business and human resources best practices, records management, risk management, drafting employee handbooks and policy and procedures manuals, creating employee benefits programs, developing compensation plans, recruiting, addressing employee relations and disciplinary issues, investigations, and trial preparation.
She continues to act as a mentor for other human resources professionals through her professional associations.
Kathryn was one of four women accepted in a class of twenty-five freshmen into the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts at USC, receiving her diploma in Cinema History and Critical Studies from the legendary Gene Kelly at her graduation.

Kathryn is a native Los Angeleno, making her home in the San Gabriel Valley with her husband, daughter, a rescued dog and three rescued cats. She donates her time to LGBTQAI+ civil rights causes and is a member of Free Mom Hugs and Stand in Pride West. Known as “The Den Mother,” Kathryn is the administrator for the Facebook fan page supporting former KLOS morning DJ Mark Thompson’s podcast “The Mark & Lynda Podcast, '' and previously “The Mark in the Morning Show” at Los Angeles radio station 100.3 The Sound.
