Katie Kiefer has over 10 years of experience executing projects and project management. She oversees complex logistics and facilitates property-specific land use processes while managing teams for public relations, outreach, communications, and government relations. She has traversed real estate development and urban planning through the private, non-profit, and public sectors.
Katie fosters strategic partnerships and collaborative governance opportunities. She has a proven track record of expanding relationships with policy makers, industry leaders, community-based organizations, and other influencers. Katie is known for her sound advice in the shifting landscapes and working client issues the right way from beginning to end.
Prior to Lee Andrews Group, Katie was the DTLA Public Works and Transportation Director for Council District 14, with the City of Los Angeles. She oversaw the advancement of over 50 development projects, across various phases of project development. She managed critical infrastructure projects, including the 6th Street Bridge, Metro’s Regional Connector, and LA Streetcar. Katie executed multiple transportation and streetscape projects to enhance DTLA’s local and regional multimobility.
Notable projects include Metro’s NexGen Bus Plan, Main & Spring Street Forward – the city’s 1st two-way bike lane corridor, MyFigueroa, multiple Vision Zero projects, the Broadway Streetscape Master Plan, and supervising Active Transportation Projects. She also was the Senior Real Estate Agent at the County of Los Angeles Chief Executive Office performing real estate transactions for County assets.
Katie Kiefer received her Executive Master of Urban Planning, magna cum laude, from University of Southern California. She has a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Development from USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, as well as an Academic Minor in Business Administration from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
